We would be honored to serve alongside you this summer!  Big Creek offers the same level of excellence and intensity as many other "big" mission camps, except at half the cost.  Big Creek Missions offers an exciting and focused  week of missions complete with a full worship band, food, speaker, staff members for each ministry group, activities, & team-building!

Energy - From the moment you arrive at Big Creek, you'll be greeted by a passionate, energetic staff  desiring to see your church changed by the transforming power of Christ.  No mistake - missions will NOT be boring at Big Creek.  Serving Christ is the most exciting thing we can ever do!

Encouragement -  We know each student has limitless potential IN CHRIST, therefore, we emphasize an environment of encouragement - challenging each student to surrender their lives to Christ and HIS work, and trusting CHRIST to do an amazing work in and through them!   We expect to see great things happen! 

Expectation: We don't look at this as a "camp."  We are not here to entertain, nor are we here to babysit.  We expect to see God move in a fresh and powerful way in the lives of the missionaries each week.  As he moves in OUR lives, then he will use each of us to transform the lives of those we serve.  We expect to see Christ transform each of US first, then we expect him to use us in the community.  It is not until we are transformed that we are ready to go serve. 

Equipping:  We spend ample time preparing students AND adults to go serve.  Students and adults will learn the following when they serve at Big Creek. . .

  • It's about worship  - not work. 
  • It's about surrender - not self-righeousness
  • It's about people - not  projects and programs

Cost:               $140 per participant

                       

Payment Schedule:  

                        $100 GROUP deposit due 2 weeks after pre-registration to confirm pre-registration

                        $40 deposit per participant due by February 1, 2009

                        $100 balance per participant due by May 1, 2009 (minus group deposit)

 

Cost includes: Air conditioned bunk-style / Classroom lodging (bring cots & air mattresses)
                        Private, curtained showers with hot water!  (7 guys showers, 7 girls showers)

                        3 meals per day - 2 hot, 1 sack lunch. (Sample Menu)

                        Worksite materials, supplies, and extensive pre-trip planning by our staff

                        Passionate staff - each ministry group has a staff representative!

                                               

You provide: Transportation, drivers, chaperones (around a 1:5 - 1:7 ratio), and a willing heart.

                         Pre-register your group online

                         Send in your GROUP deposit of $100 to verify your pre-registration within 2 weeks.

                                    (Group deposit will apply to your final balance, but is non-refundable)
